And Still Going Strong

I've been on a roll with exercise and been doing fab on my eating as well!! Loving the motivation I am getting from having a team on the Biggest Loser site, really keeps me going and wanting to help encourage and motivate them as much as they motivate me!!!

Finally reached that first 20lb goal and am 2lb down toward the next 20lb goal, it may seem silly, but I have so much to lose that it is just easier for me to break it up in 20lb goals so that its not overwhelming!! I rewarded myself with two new shirts and will reward myself for each goal made with some sort of non-food reward!! I think the next 20lb goal reward will be a much needed pedi and girls day with my dear friend if she's up for it :)

Really trying to find more strengthening exercises to incorporate, ones I like that are challenging but doable at the same time!! I know I'm asking a lot lol!!  Love my cardio, but need to incorporate some tougher stuff too!!! I will definitely be doing cardio most/all days of the week in some form and I really want to do that color run in September with a friend of mine and her team of friends!!

Water intake, still probably not what it should be, but haven't been having soda either, just not enough to drink period I guess!!

I've gotten myself to the point that I'm cranky and mad at everyone around me if they don't cooperate and let me exercise lol, not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing :)  But I'm happy, now that I'm at this point in the journey, I know I got this!!!! :)

Adding new things

Well the lbs are not deleting very quickly and I feel like its weigh to early to be stuck on this journey, I have way too much to lose for it not to be coming off a bit quicker!! I want it to be healthy of course, but it should definitely be steady and I lose a couple, get stuck, lose a couple, get stuck.......and its a little frustrating, but not so much so that I'm throwing my hands up and quitting.....that's NOT gonna happen!!!! This is too important to me!!  I am stuck at 18lb so still haven't hit my first goal of 20lbs I am sad to report.  So anyway, all that being said, its got to be something I'm doing or not doing, so I've gotten back on My Fitness Pal and I'm trying my best to log EVERYTHING that passes my lips so now I'm using Fitbit, Biggest Loser and My Fitness Pal!! LOL, its a lot to keep up with along with my blog, but they are ALL powerful tools that can help me succeed!!

Almost everyday I'm coming in under calories, but not so much so that it should slow down my metabolism so I'm pretty good there!!  Most days I'm also getting in plenty of steps, but I'm not doing any other exercises most days so I'm now incorporating running 12 flights of stairs everyday until I can do it easily, then I will add to it!!! I also want to make sure that at least 2-3 times a week I am doing some form of exercises that incorporate weights, but haven't decided on what I'm going to do there.....any suggestions are welcome!!  I am also most days NOT drinking enough water which is a major problem and not doing anything to help my cause and I've been still having one soda a day (I know, I know.....just awful) so that's my last thing to work on extra hard LOT'S of water and NO soda!! I know its awful for you with all the sugar and I DON'T do diet!! YUCK! LOL.  

So in a nutshell, I'm adding weights and stair climbing to my routine and more water to my day and less, I mean NO soda!!! See if I can get these LBS falling off again at a nice steady pace and hit that first 20lb goal so I can set the next one and hit 40 :)

Still going strong!!

Even though I don't get to post blogs as often as I did in the beginning and planned to, this does still help me, but between exercising more, Biggest Loser Website, My Fitness Pal and Fitbit, I promise I am logging all things and staying busy still :)  I will NOT forget about my blog either though and promise to make more of an effort to post weekly and possibly/hopefully semi weekly......I'll try to make it my goal to do Sundays and Thursdays maybe!!  All that being said:

Things are going GREAT!! I have been way more active, watching my eating (been eating too little if anything), still have my ups and downs with the water intake and the devil soda, but all in all things are going GREAT really!! Down 17lb......SO close to 20 and its only been a month and two days since I got serious about this so not too bad.......of course I have my days where I'm like "why can't it be 50 already" lol, but I know that slow and steady are the healthy way to do it and KEEP IT OFF.....really DELETE those LBS!!! So I am not in the least discouraged and plan on keepin' on!!!! 

I've been mostly doing cardio......lots of walking, but I'm doing tough walks that involve lots of up and down hills and such and pushing about 65lbs in a stroller while wearing a backpack!!!  BUT, I need to start getting back to more of my weights too and my 8 Minutes In The Morning and incorporating all that too :)  

Hope everyone is doing well!!! Off here now to clean and get some steps and movement in!!

Biggest Loser, I think so!!

So I joined the Biggest Loser online a while back....maybe a month or two ago and decided  if I was paying for it I should utilize it!! There are SO many great recipes and exercise videos, its really pretty awesome and I'm loving it!! I also got really brave and created my own team even if it was only a team of one and I named it Get Up Get Movin' and the team motto is "moving equals weight loss equals motivation" (which in turn of course equals more moving and so on and so forth, but I figured that much was self explanatory lol).  So anyway to my great and still very happy surprise I've had 10 requests from people to join my team just based on the name and motto so far.  I am trying to be a good team leader and posts lots of motivational team statuses, I joined us in a 6 week challenge that started Monday and I'm trying to get us started on some in-team challenges for even more motivation :)  I am super excited about this and hope it helps me to keep deleting these lbs left and right along with my new team members that I hope become friends on this journey!!!

I am making it my goal (it technically has been my goal since April 17th, but I've been a bum about it) to get 10k-20k (any number in between works, but minimum 10k) steps in a day!! I don't care how I get them as long as I stay moving enough to get them!! Past two days we've taken 4-6 mile walks that have been challenging with really tough hills and such so I've been slacking on my beach body cinch workout, but I think I will get it in this week or weekend at some point (maybe more than once) because its supposed to be nothing but rain here for a few days so I'll have to figure something out besides just treadmill.

Side note, I have to talk to my hubby and friends, so this is not a definite yet, but I'm hoping to do a RunWalk 5k (BL of course) in July!!! Pretty excited and hope I get some yeses on that one so I can get us registered :)

Been too long....again

So this is going to be quick, I promise a longer one this weekend!! I've been busy trying to workout more and stay busier so that's a good thing, but I don't want to neglect my blog either, despite my quietness lately, it is very important to me and helps me tremendously knowing its here to blog when I need it!! 

Anyway, that being said, other than staying more active (at least most days) I don't have a lot to report been pretty stuck on the weight front, mostly because I haven't been eating right though, so that's what I will be focusing on this weekend and into next week and forward of course is adding the right way of eating ALL meals, not just some to get this weight moving in the right direction again and get off this 12lb loss and onto a bigger number and KEEP ON DELETING THOSE LBS!! :) 

Hope everyone is well and having more progress than me or at least knows where the breakdown is if there is a lack of progress!!
