Definitely Back on Track!!!! (and so excited)

So those stubborn couple of lbs I gained back while off track and demotivated are gone.....along with another one....I am DEFINITELY back on track and feeling refreshed, excited, motivated and all that jazz......and ready to KEEP the momentum going and watch some more disappear.......FOR GOOD (I do NOT want them back)  :) 

I completed the arm challenge in my BL BC54 Challenge and was finally on the list......in the middle, but still,  for most reps :)

I completed the leg challenge too, but results aren't up yet, I know without a doubt I'll be at the bottom of that list, but I did attempt it.......just got sidetracked with yard work and company (which I loved) and never got back to finishing it lol

This weekend is the core challenge, I'll let you know  how I do once results are posted next week......hoping I can get in the reps I want to to make it higher up on that list.......I won't be number one, some of these ladies are ON TOP OF IT, but if I can beat my own records each week showing I'm making progress that's all I want!!

Today is my shift at the Y.......then if the weather is mild like it was yesterday......I'm thinking an evening walk with the hubby and kids, maybe down by the river, but then again, maybe on our street....depends on moods :)

For now, its off to do laundry (and LOTS of it) and organize in the kitchen and Bryn's room.....see if Jor feels better or if we are going to the Dr. again :/

Last Chance Workout..............will I be able to use my arms again tomorrow lol

So today I did Jillian Michaels Last Chance Workout and I thought I was going to throw up at one point and pass out at another, but after a short break about midway through, I finished the whole routine and survived..........I think......my arms may say differently in the morning lol.  loved it thought!!!

I seriously let myself get so caught up in cardio I forget how good it feels (until the next day) to actually incorporate and use other muscle groups!! I know that cardio is of utmost importance and will continue with cardio also, but I've got to do more strength training too!!! So my goal is to get through this routine without needing a break (the mountain climbers did me in lol) and then I'll go from there and maybe get brave enough for turbo fire or something like that or T25, I hear that one is really good too!! :) (any feedback on those workouts welcome)

Anywho, my motivation is back 100% and I am stoked about my leg challenge tomorrow and getting ready for my first 5k in September :) So I'm ready to start seeing those LBs fall off again and I will definitely be blogging on a regular basis again now that my motivation level is back where I need it to be and I'll have some progress to post again :) 

Really appreciate everyone that has encouraged me and pushed me even when I've been off my game for the last three weeks :) But like I said I'm Baaaaaack and ready to Get Up Get Movin' and delete those LBs :)

New Challenge

Started a new challenge and boot camp finally and I'm pumped and ready to start this deletion of lbs again!!! WOOHOO!!!! Gonna have 'em falling off again.....been at a stand off with myself for over two weeks now but the time has come to get this body burning fat and moving again......have come way too far to stop or reverse directions right now!!!! I. AM. PUMPED!!!!

I also am in the process of signing up for my first 5K which will take place in September and I am nervous and completely stoked all at the same time!!!! Gonna start getting ready for that and looking forward to it and hoping it starts a trend for me........I'm not a runner, but I want to run sometimes..............I think I would ideally like to do about 2-4 local 5K's in my area a year that have meaning behind them and are for a good cause and I would love to do a melanoma one in PA or NC once a year also!!! So another new goal I've set for myself :) I'm excited and will update my progress for you guys if you are interested and if not.....well I guess just don't read it lol :)

Rough 2 weeks

So between computer issues, Dr. appt., eye appt., U/S, getting Rx's filled and seeing Ty off to Cali, I just have NOT been able to access my Biggest Loser acct very much or My Fitness Pall or FitBit and I didn't realize exactly how motivating these tools were and how much I needed the accountability factor..................I've gained weight, I've been completely demotivated and I've put in WAY TOO MUCH HARD WORK, SWEAT and TEARS to throw all that away now!!! I'm back to being able to access my much needed tools and I am BACK ON TRACK and going to get those lbs right back off and then keep deleting even more LBS!!! I GOT THIS I KNOW I CAN DO IT!!!!

So again for accountability and for honestly mostly and first off to myself, but also those that take the time to read this......I do appreciate you all very much, just so you know.....I needed to post this to just get it out there and off my shoulders/chest...whew feel like a weights been lifter...oh and speaking of weights I lifted a lot today :) Hahahaha I'm so ADD LOL  Anyway, I'm super excited that I'm back on track and DOIN' IT!!! 

Hope you are all motivated and up and movin'.  One thing I've learned with exercising at home with the little ones is that sometimes I have to break up my routine into smaller segments and that's ok as long as I am up moving throughout the day and getting it all done!!! The day will come when they are all in school and I'll be able to exercise for an hour straight and I'll wish I had to baby days back, so I won't complain and I'll get it done as time and they allow me to!!! :)

Blah kind of week

So this is supposed to be the ups AND downs of this journey so it would be remiss to not mention the downs and it certainly wouldn't be doing me any favors!! The point of this blog was to motivate myself and hopefully others, document my journey (even the negative things), and learn from my mistakes so I can stay focused and DO THIS!!!

This week has just been an off week, we have been here, there and everywhere, doctors, doctors, and more doctors trying to get everyone check ups for the year and be done with it well before school starts back and if you read my other blog, you know we ran into a couple of minor issues with my Ty-man.  They are minor and I am thankful but its still been stressful for him so in turn a little bit stressful for me.....not too bad though as I'm giving it to God and praying about it for both of us......but now I'm getting sidetracked lol....I'm not a little ADD LOL.....

Anywho, all that being said I didn't really exercise but on Monday and Wednesday and I ate like MAJOR POO!!!! I ended up gaining a pound......it's only a pound right?? NO!!! Its in the wrong direction and it is a big deal, but then its not......does that even make sense??

Its a big deal because I still have a long way to go and I AM NOT going to throw all my hard work away and start gaining this weight back....these LBS have been DELETED.....meaning gone forever so this can NOT happen.....BUT its not a big deal because I recognize that its happening and have every intention of stopping it at 1 LB.........I will get back on my track first thing in the morning and STAY there!! :) I have complete confidence and faith that I can AND will do this!!

So anyway, its only fair that I'm completely honest and have accountability when I mess up and things aren't going well, but I assure you they will be back on track next week and I'll have better things to report!!

Getting Back Into Routine....Well Kind Of Starting a New One

Since VBS I've been off my game, getting back on the treadmill has been pretty tough after going a whole week without doing it.  That being said, I think I've decided to change it up somewhat and do the treadmill most days, but I'm ok with not doing it EVERY DAY now as I'm doing Family Drum on Monday evenings and I would love to get back into a zumba class at least once a week and on Tuesdays I'm doing a LOT of arm exercises and Wednesday or Thursday is a LOT of leg exercises, the weekends are core (yes LOTS) exercises and I'm still climbing stairs! I've joined a boot camp type challenge on Biggest Loser and this is our schedule for 8 weeks so while I want some cardio every day, for sure two days a week it will be through Family Drum and Zumba......something different, but me and my treadmill will still have very regular dates, just not every day and we will see how this works for a while and if I NEED to go back to treadmill every day,  I  will....we shall see, but I'm going to try this schedule for a while and see what happens with weight loss!! I'll be keeping up with my hard copy journal as I exercise and let you guys know what I'm up to a couple of times a week  and how the deleting of the lbs is going with this "new routine"!!

All that being said, I hope you guys are getting up, getting movin' and enjoying Summer!! I'm feeling a trip to KD coming up soon for us, we'll see though!! Water Park tomorrow evening so will get lots of exercise doing that!! :) Have a safe and happy Fourth of July!!!
