Finally!!! I made it to one of Biggest Loser workout videos.....I had to go to extreme measures and just tell the kids I'm working out, work out with me or get out of my way and don't you dare come in here to make fun of me LOL!!
It was only 25 minute and I was so disappointed in myself at the end of it!! I did about 90% of it but had to stop a couple of times because I am just THAT OUT OF SHAPE!!! How do people do this to themselves??? I'm not sure how I let it happen, but I know that whining won't do a BIT of GOOD, gotta suck it up and stick with it, with each workout I will get STRONGER. MY bad choices got ME here, nothing and nobody else and I'm going to FIX it MYSELF with lots of GOOD choices and HARD WORK!!! :) I'm ready for this journey and the challenges that go with it, and I'm not going to make the mistake of fooling myself into thinking it will be EASY because it WON'T but I HAVE to do this!!! I WANT to do this!!! :) I'm actually completely STOKED (yes at the same time I'm disappointed lol.....I'm a woman I can have simultaneous emotions, right? ). This workout made me realize how far I have to go and MOTIVATED me to WORK and GET IT DONE!!!!
I may still go for a walk this evening too to top it off since it was a short workout, but let me assure you, it was INTENSE, I was doing some SERIOUS SWEATING in those 25 minutes, Anna K don't play around and neither does Dolvett!!! I'm so glad I bought four different workouts :)
So, to MOTIVATE someone else let me remind you, only YOU can change your circumstances and even 25 minutes or 1 mile is better than sitting on your couch doing nothing for those 25 minutes and 1 mile turns into 2 and then 3 and so on if you are consistent and push yourself and I believe YOU can do it just like I intend to!! :) Get up and Get moving!!
Healthy me,
Adrienne
I posted a long comment on this post the other day from my phone, and i guess it never went through. :( a good part of this post was straight out of my head. I say to myself all the time, how did i let it get this bad? how did i get so fat? how did i get so lazy? I failed myself and my body so badly, i let it fall apart. and its the hardest thing in the world to get it back. But its the most rewarding.
ReplyDeleteAgreed Jennifer and I think the first and biggest step on this journey is taking ownership of the mistakes I made, I did this and only I can fix it with a lot of hard work.
